September 14th- Welcome to our 2021/22 School Year!
Welcome Parents and Students!
Although we are still working through the pandemic, I am looking forward to a wonderful year full of learning, connecting, and fun!
What you can find on my site:
1.) Information about Me In normal times we have ample opportunity to get to know our families during the course of a school year. Because of restrictions regarding in-person interactions, I wanted to create a place for you to get information about who I am as a teacher, so that hopefully you feel an increased level of comfort with your child being placed in my class. I have included my contact information and am always open to chatting more.
2.) Resources Under the Numeracy, Literacy and Social Emotional Learning tabs you will find resources and ideas to use at home should you feel that your child needs more help in a particular area. These may also be helpful if you are unable to send your child to school due to a COVID related situation and would like to do some school work at home.
3.) Keeping Informed My hope is to use this tab to keep you up to date about what we are doing in class. I plan to post an outline of our learning objectives each term, as well as any other items that I feel you might want to access. I may also experiment with the blog tab to share some of the things we are doing together in class.
This will be a year of change and it will require flexibility and patience, but with your help I plan on making it a memorable one (in a good way :) !

Health Tips
Please speak to your child about the importance of hand washing, and staying home when feeling unwell. It is expected that parents do a daily check to monitor their child's symptoms. For guidance on whether your child needs to self isolate or be tested for Covid-19 call 8-1-1 or use the self assessment tool which can be found at https://bc.thrive.health.
